Studio C.E.S. is a boutique residential interior design studio that specializes in full-service, hands-on design and consultations. Based in the South and inspired by timeless British design, we create bespoke, classic interiors that enhance everyday living and entertaining. Our designs evoke curiosity through curated collections of textiles, artwork, heirloom-quality pieces, and a blending of styles that feel fresh, comfortable and purpose-driven. From concept to installation, we manage every detail, focusing on relationships, exceptional furnishings, meaningful antiques, and the work of skilled artisans. We strive to create beautiful spaces that withstand the test of time and feel as if they have always been there. The goal is simple: to resonate with each client, unique lifestyle and personality…all while having a little fun!
Callie E. Simmons
Owner & Designer
Born and raised in Southeast Missouri, a graduate of the University of Mississippi, and a current resident of Memphis, TN, Callie has always been drawn to enduring Southern hospitality and the way that a space can make you feel when entering into it. Callie is a detail-oriented creative at heart. She believes that the homes we welcome friends and family into and cultivate memories within, cannot be valued as a financial investment alone; they form the backdrop of our lives.
After five years of working in the residential interior design industry and continuing her education at the Inchbald School of Design in Chelsea, London, she has developed relationships with talented tradespeople, a formally trained set of technical skills and a naturally trained eye for the details of home that deserve to be valued. Her favorite part of the design process is digging deep into the “vision” behind each project. Only then can she collaborate with the families and skilled artisans to execute a truly special and personal end result.
Rather than simply moving into a beautiful space, a home must be created, layered, well-thought, collected, and reflective of each family who lives within its walls, invites others in, and tells an intentional story.
